Book Project

For the first part of our Book Project, we had to create a concertina book from a choice of stories. I did mine on The Brave Tin Soldier....

Finally got round to photographing my projects from this year so far...

This first project is my book project on Communication. I chose to look at how animals communicate, and made 4 small books on Wolves, Poison Dart Frogs, Rabbits and Peacocks and how they communicate, contained in a box and labelled.

This project was to complete 40 drawings of two objects, experimenting with the composition, and then giving each one a caption which describes the emotion that each creates. I chose to draw a pin cushion and a cotton reel...

This book project was self directed... i chose to do mine on Memories. My final book starts with my earliest memories running through to my most recent in concertina format. The first images are very unclear to show how these memories are old and distorted, whereas the most recent are more accurate and lucid.

The other day i was caught unawares by a secret Frank Turner show being announced while we were out, so i decided to invest in a disposable camera for the first time in years....

So i had plans to keep this blog updated regularly.... then uni gave me a presentation to do which has become the bane of my existence, so just for now here's some of my favourite instant photos i've taken recently...
